An elegant delight from the house of Yves Saint Laurent is anticipated to come about in September 2014 with the presentation of a new member to its Opium Fragrance Collection with its Black Opium aroma. The new scent for women is a fashionable city re-design of the company's famous Opium Fragrance in a rock n roll inspired presentation of the 1977 classic Opium, and comes following the most recent seasonal launches of Opium 2013, Opium Vapeurs de Parfum and Belle D'Opium EDP Eclat.
Black Opium was developed by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne in joint effort with Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc. Based on the main concept of a coffee note the aroma involves further perfume substances of pink pepper, orange blossom, jasmine, vanilla, musk, patchouli and cedar.
YSL Black Opium appears in the legendary designed bottle of the Opium Perfume Range and for this release is covered in a rich sparkling black decoration with shiny texture that present a fascinating rock look.
The muse that will stand for the new fragrance Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent is British top model Edie Campbell. The brand was inspired by Edie's chameleon like beauty, requirements responding to all contemporary ladies, with the fashion of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty. For this she was chosen for her stylish, cultured appearance, a model with originality that has become a beauty image for an entire generation.
