Lolita Lempicka

Starting in 1983, the fashion house Lolita Lempicka obtained its distinct title when its founding fathers Josiane Pividal and her spouse Joseph put together their brand-name as a combined homage to Vladimir Nabokov’s legendary story, "Lolita," and to the Polish artist Tamara de Lempicka. In 1984 the pair started out their first store, situated in the Marais district of Paris. While Josiane's creations are usually influenced by the 1940s, they constantly reach a fun harmony involving the contemporary and the sentimental past. She grew to be recognized for her remarkably designed outfits, adapting traditional Parisian designs with innovative femininity.

When the primary store started in 1984, the business dramatically spread directly into the worldwide market place, and in 1987 appointed Kashiyama to lead their Japanese stores. That same year they released Lolita Bis, a younger collection which they devoted to their child, Elisa. In 1995 as an effort to help make her apparel available to most of the age ranges and lighter pockets she developed a more standard series labeled Lolita Studio Design - L.S.D. Lolita has earned a number of accolades for -Parfums Lolita Lempicka- such as in 1998 the Best Women’s Fragrance award given together with the Fragrance Foundation and the American FIFI award.

The brands homonymous perfume Lolita Lempicka was released in 1998. The fragrance received Best Fragrance award, granted collectively by the Fragrance Foundation and the American FIFI foundation. Also the packaging received an award the DCI’s Package of the Year award for 1998. Referred to as the -fruit of our dreams-, Lolita Lempicka is housed in an apple shape bottle with the Lempicka brand etched on it. Furthermore, L de Lolita Lempicka Perfume for Women was released in 2006, nearly a decade after the first Lolita Lempicka Fragrance. The perfume is available in an aquamarine pebble-shaped bottle designed by artist Sylvie De France. Lolita Lempicka L is a fresh oriental fragrance. Most recent women’s releases include L'Eau Jolie and L'Eau En Blanc perfume. The men's fragrance collection includes Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin cologne, released in 2000 with its most recent edition Au Masculin Eau de Minuit from 2012.
