Kenzo Designer History:
Kenzo Takada was born 27 February 1939 in Himeji, Japan and is regarded as a Japanese fashion designer. Additionally he is the creator of Kenzo Paris, a global brand name of fragrances, skincare products and clothing.

Kenzo has constantly targeted his efforts in the direction of a multicultural planet, a globe of colors and attractiveness, with nature as a lively, infinite resource of ideas. Timeless, modern, or futurist, the ladies and gentlemen’s scents Kenzo developed are centered on ideals of existence, vitality along with ingrained harmonious balance of elements.

Kenzo's absolute passion for fashion evolved from his young ages, specifically when looking through his sisters' periodicals. He briefly went to the University of Kobe, at which he felt uninterested and inevitably pulled away, opposing his family’s wish. In 1958, he enrolled at the newly opened Tokyo's Bunka Fashion College, whose gates were open only to male students.

Once receiving his degree, he decided to relocate to Paris in 1964 seeking to achieve a spot in the fashion world. He started going to fashion shows, building contacts and relationships with the press and media while marketing his sketches and drawings.

Kenzo's first styles commenced in humble style due to the fact he could merely find the money to purchase his materials from outdoor fair sales. As an outcome, Kenzo had to combine several striking materials with each other create one dress.

In 1970 Kenzo's will finally meet success, in this year he introduced his first fashion show presented at the Vivienne Gallery. He opened his first store the "Jungle Jap" and one of his models showed up in the cover of ELLE. In 1971 his selection was introduced in New York and Tokyo elevating his success to global territory. The following year, he received the Japan’s Fashion Editor Club award. In 1978 and 1979 Kenzo demonstrated his perception of drama and spectacular presence while presenting his shows in a circus style - festival outdoor tent, with the ending of the shows presenting horsewomen entertainers dressed in see-through outfits and he himself as an elephant rider.

Kenzo Fragrance History:
Kenzo’s first fragrance was introduced in 1978 and ten years later in 1988, the women's perfume collection started out with Kenzo de Kenzo today known as Ça Sent Beau as well as Parfum d'été 1992, Le Monde est Beau 1997 and L'eau par Kenzo 1996. Kenzo pour Homme was the first men's fragrance released in 1991. FlowerbyKenzo, introduced in 2000, has ever since turned into a front runner perfume for the Kenzo Parfums business. In 2001, a cosmetics skincare series, KenzoKI was additionally presented with subsequent fragrance releases.

Since 1993 the brand name Kenzo is owned and operated by the French luxurious product enterprise LVMH.
