Bill Blass

Bill Blass American fashion design star was born in Indiana, with style in his DNA from early age . He was the son of a dressmaker, and is greatly recognized for ageless, artistic, exceptionally tailored women’s apparel and creative textures and designs mixtures. His desire for style started as fashion - influenced rough drawings in his school textbooks and got a huge boost at age 15, when he started sewing and retailing evening dresses for a only $25 a piece to a New York producer. By the age of 17 he went to NYC to formally study fashion. Blass joined the army in the beginning of the 1940’s and was located to a section with other specialists with an extraordinarily imaginative, Marco-Polo type combating quest: to deceive the German Army into believing the Allies were located in false locations.
