Alfred Sung Designer History:
Worldwide fashion and fragrance designer Alfred Sung was born in Shanghai 1948 and was brought up in Hong Kong, he trained in couture at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. After graduation with accolades, Sung relocated to New York following his passion to learn at Parsons School of Design. In 1972, he settled in Canada and, in 1976, he started his own store, named "Moon." In 1979, he teamed up with Joseph and Saul Mimran and in the subsequent year established the Monaco Group Inc. which introduced the Alfred Sung label and started production in their own union free store. In 1981, the label was introduced in the US via Saks Fifth Avenue and before long was offered by leading retail outlets such as Macy's, Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman. In 1982, Sung started his first free- standing retailer shop in Hazelton Lanes, Toronto. Sung's primary goal is to develop sharp, contemporary, ageless styles that present excellent, style, and are price worthy that address the administrative, executive professional woman of our times.
The actual Sung licensed product collections feature perfume, eyeglasses, sun glasses, wedding, jewellery and fashion accessories, along with men's pparel and accessories.
Alfred Sung Fragrance History:
The Sung fragrance series echos his distinct sensibilities - revealing equally the soul and vitality of the occasion for present day's modern woman. Sung by Alfred Sung was introduced in 1986, and was succeeded by countless excellent releases such as Shi perfume in 2001 and Paradise perfume in 2003. In 2005, a new signature perfume, Jewel Alfred Sung was released. Men's fragrances feature Hei and Alfred Sung cologne.
