At last i just recently got a vintage Christian Dior Diorella on the internet and i am basically infatuated with this jewel. This is an amazing scent: profound greenery that buoys!, a floral flow of genuine old fashioned class and an extremely mature fruity aroma like a basket of fruits long lasting and noticeable. i truly adore this and see it being an all year round option. exquisite masterpiece.

Dior's brilliant chypre that will never be forgotten. The trend of the 1970s was green, mossy chypre. This seemed to be the flagship of the trend. This was not mere perfume, yet fine art. Freedom within the industry allowed such treasures to be produced.

It gets attention and by todays standards, could cause a riot. Its now lost and very expensive to collectors-needless to say, very worth it!

At first sniff, it has an outdoorsy feel that reminds me of Eau de Camille but after time, the resemblance to Le Parfum de Therese is a lot more obvious.
Diorella is greener, sunnier and happier; less serious than LPdT yet sweeter than Cristalle, to whom it has also been compared. The fruits in it are ripe, almost dripping nectar and the greenery is more of a golden green. It feels timeless, ageless and genderless and mingles with (my) skin perfectly turning into a skin scent. Unrestricted by boundaries, Diorella is a free spirit that also happens to be a masterpiece.

Indisputably a masterpiece and one of the best floral chypre fragrances around. Sister of Eau Sauvage, this one is a bit more watery and round with the Roudnitska signature. This one adds a bit more floral freshness over Eau Sauvage's sweaty caraway, though both are cozy and lived in, as great chypre fragrances tend to be. I can never decide which of the two I like better. I guess I don't have to!
