This version of Casmir is much, much lighter, brighter and more powdery than the original rich and resinous vanilla-oriental.
Pink has the signature vanilla-base but with the volume down low. It also has a lot in common with fluffy, cashmir-sweater scents like Iceberg, Amour, Kenzoki Rice Steam and vanilla-foodie cake perfumes like Amour d'Amandier.
It is much more delicate and subtle than I expected with a light fruitiness that weaves its way beneath the surface. The result is a very gentle sandalwood-vanilla scent, with warm, soft peachskin and a dusting of powder.
Very feminine, warm, light and playful with a fuzzy clean quality that never turns sickly. Rather lovely, but not a scent that will make a statement as it wears close to the skin. One to lean in and enjoy.
