Chanel No 22 is the most beautiful, sophisticated, wishful aroma that I ever had. From the countless fragrances I have tested in my life time this is simply elegant and perfectly made. The way lily is executed here its nothing less the divine. They way it moves from peach to lilac so smoothly and seamlessly is amazing and the nutmeg here is just perfectly balanced. Its like going to fairyland with the pleasant anticipation building up and the eagerness of arriving. So wonderful!

Chanel No.22 is much prettier and ten times sexier than Chanel No.5.

No.5 is like sharp baby powder and old cosmetics, whereas No.22, although powdery as well, has a beautiful array of floral accords, smokey incense and bourbon vanilla.

I can really smell the ylang ylang in this fragrance, along with the vanilla and the lily of the valley. These combined notes gives this scent a classically feminine appeal.

It's a confident scent with a touch of youthfulness, particularly with the sweet nuances. I initially detested aldehydes when I was younger, however since reaching my 20's, powdery scents are classified by me as being sexy scents.

Chanel No.22 is very white, but nowhere near being innocent. It brings to mind the feeling of being prim and proper but flirtatious at the same time.

The powder in this fragrance is less alarming than some aldehydic fragrances I've tried. It has some similarities to the beautiful D&G Women (the one with the red cap), which I also adore.

The sillage and lasting power is commendable, as is its ability to work well with any kind of skin chemistry. I highly recommend this classic Chanel masterpiece.

Let me join in the No 22 Love-fest. Just a great sparking aldehyde witha wonderful incense underneath. The current EdT in the les Exclusifs line is a top performer. I agree with many many of the reviews on the internet. And I like the 6.8oz bottle of this thing as well.

I will wear this on my wedding day! I am so pleased to have discovered this magnificent scent! It is begging to be my signature, but my beloved coco mademoiselle is my "anytime " and "anyplace " fragrance that makes me feel comfortable and confident! No. 22 is pure indulgence for my nose and I would hate to ruin it's magic by wearing it all the time. It is a scent for special occassions since it is a special scent. I have not smelled anything like it and fear I cannot do it justice by trying to describe it's beautiful aroma in mere words. I do love my no. 5 as well but find that no. 5 is a bit maternal at times (which is fine for me since I am a mommy :)) but when I want to feel innocent and feminine (almost virginity in a bottle) I reach for no. 22. You must try this on your skin to appreciate this intoxicating fragrance! Hats off, Coco!
